Born in 1983, raised within the city boundaries of Antwerp, Belgium, my first passion in life was music. I still enjoy listening sessions at home but long gone are the days that I was interested in music production.
While studying graphic design in college, I got into contact with analog photography and loved it ever since. During my college years I documented the mundane, everyday life but later developed an interest for abandoned buildings.
After spending years in asbestos filled places, my focus shifted towards nature and landscape photography. I still shoot both format, digital and analog, side by side. I process 35mm, 120mm rolls and 4x5 sheets in a makeshift darkroom at home.
As I often receive the question what gear I use for photography or hiking & camping, I created a dedicated Photography & camping gear page as a detailed overview.
I work as a scrum master for A.S. Adventure, a large outdoor and casual clothing retailer in Europe with physical stores in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and UK.
